Edward B. Stanko of 300 Perry Ave.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope),died Tuesday, July 9,1968 at 11 p.m. in the Oakland Veterans Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was born July 9,1924 in Fayette City. He was the son of the late John Stanko, who died in March,1965 and Mary Stanko. He was a veteran of World War II,serving with the U.S.Navy. Survivors include his mother, Mary,with whom he made his home; one brother, Paul of Fairhope and one sister,Mrs.Charles K. (Mary) Males of Belle Vernon R.D. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeal Home,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12,1968 at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in charge.
