Obituary
Mrs. Edna Smith,age 78,of 326 Third street, Monessen,died Wednesday night,December 26,1954 at 7:15 o'clock at her home. She is survived by three sons,Walter Farmer of Monesen,Steve Farmer of Clairton,and Herbert Farmer,of McKeesport; three daughters,Mrs. Grace Hill,with whom the deceased made her home,Mrs. Lorraine Denson,of Monessen,and Mrs. Edna Forte,of Cleveland;one brother,Ossie Mathews,of Washington,D.C.;35 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,on Saturday,Jan.1,after 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Monday,Jan.3,at 11 a.m.,with Rev. E. Archie officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
