Edna Bickerton,98,of Charleroi R.D.2,at 7:30 p.m. in Meadowlands Health Care Center. Born April 28,1894,in Jamestown,she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth James Hall. Mrs. Bickerton lived in Speers for 60 years,from 1928 to 1988,and was a member of Speers United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband,Fred Riskey,in 1934;her second husband,William Bickerton,in 1970;a daughter,Mary Stewart;two sons,Joseph Riskey and Elmer Riskey;three sisters,Luella Thomas,Mary McCabe and Dorothy Dugan;and three brothers, Harry,John and Frank Hall. Surviving are one son,Fred R. Riskey of Charleroi R.D.2;two daughters, Rose White of Waynesburg and Oleada Alessio of Speers;14 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Flower Jr.,pastor of Speers United Methodist Church,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
