Mrs. Edna M. Scott,71,of 522 Speer St.,Belle Vernon,died at her home Monday,Nov.41968. She was born in Johnstown July 8,1897,and had lived in Belle Vernon since 1945. Mrs.Scott was a member of the United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Her husband,Walter C.,died on Nov.5,1963. Surviving are a stepson,Lowell Scott of Addison,ILL.,one brother,Charles W. Crocker of Johnstown;two sisters, Mrs. Donald F. (Helen) James of Johnstown and Mrs. Merle R. (Elizabeth) Palmer of Verp Beach,Fla. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.,Nov.5. Service there Thursday,Nov.7,at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Richard B. Snyder, pastor of United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
