Lulu M.Sheets;wife of George Sheets;died at her home;Lakewood;Ohio;Tuesday;June 6;1939;at 7:30 a.m.;after a lingering illness. She was born and reared in Belle Vernon. Surviving are her mother;Mrs.Maude Toohey;of Chicago;her husband and two sons;Clayton and George of Lakewood;a daughter;Mrs.Elizabeth Eismer;also of Lakewood;and two grandchildren. Three sisters;Mrs.Margaret Callahan;of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Harriet White;of Pittsburgh;and Mrs.Eva Yaple;of Chicago;also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Branch and Kauffman mortuary home in Lakewood tonight Wednesday;June 7;1939 at 7 o’clock. The remains will then be brought to the home of Mr.Alice Lowman;226 Main street;Belle Vernon;where friends will be received. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday;June 9;at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.J.Meade Daugherty of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Belle Vernon;with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
