Obituary

Edna Grace Reppert Wilkinson, 93, of Belle Vernon, finally got her wish to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Paul and Myrtle Zundel Reppert, she was born in Belle Vernon on Jan. 15, 1917, and was also the niece of the late Edna L. Reppert with whom she resided before her marriage. Born and raised on Main Street in Belle Vernon, her heart had always remained there. Edna Grace graduated from Belle Vernon High School and the Bertha Leonard Business School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon since April 5, 1931, was a past president of the former Tuesday Evening Civic Club, a life member and past board member of the Belle Vernon Public Library, a former member of the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and had served on the committee of the Washington Township Food Bank. Edna Grace had been the office manager for 40 years at the former Vizza Motors and Twilight Industries. Survivors include two brothers and four sisters-in-law, Franklin and Jean Reppert, Ernest and Donna Reppert, all of Belle Vernon, Geraldine Reppert of Fairfax, Va., and Doris Reppert of Bedford, 11 nieces and eight nephews, Barbara Reppert, Carole Wilson, Mickee Korns, Thomas, Deborah and Joseph Reppert, Sheree Flynn, Rebecca Mutich, Donna Santoro, Charles J. Mutich, James Reppert, Darla Garrett, Daniel Reppert, Diane Paris, Kevin and Todd Reppert, Edward Rach, Margaret Ann Ebbitt and Susan Vitalbo, many great nieces and great nephews, including Adam and Abby Santoro, who called her 'uncle Grace'. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. 'Tucker' Wilkinson on Feb. 2, 2009, two sisters, Betty Mutich and Joan Rach, five brothers, Thurman, John, Howard, Charles and Donald Reppert, a nephew, Terry Reppert, and two great-nephews, Jason Korns and Jamie Wilson. Friends will be received 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com, Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Monday at a time to be announced. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
