Earl T. Owens of 825 Florence Ave.,Avalon, died Monday, May 4,1987,in Suburban General Hospital,Bellevue,Pa. He was 60. Mr. Owens was born Dec. 1,1926,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Raymond T. and Ruth Rodabaugh Owens. He was employed as manager of the Gary Hardward Company in Bellevue. Surviving are his wife,Donna Springer Owens, two daughters, Sharon R. Owens of Avonmore,Pa.,and Shelly L. Owens of Avalon,Pa.,his step-mother, Helen Owens of Belle Vernon, a brother, Raymond Owens of Belle Vernon,one step-brother, James Skirpan of Bellevue,one sister, Juanita Taylor in California and a step-sister,Gerry Schallenberger of Pleasant Hills. Friends are being received Thursday in the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home,1014 California Ave.,Avalon. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in Mr. Owens' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Orion C. Ppickerton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
