Earl R. (Blackie) Blacka,67,of 449 Fourth St.,North Charleroi,died Tuesday morning, Feb. 16, 1960 at 12:45 o'clock in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Blacka had been employed as a craneman at the Pittsburgh Steel Co's Monessen plant for the past 29 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Tonks Blacka;a daughter, Mrs. Grant (Olive) Stewart of North Charleroi;two grandsons,Ronald and Russell DeSellems and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be recieved at the Gastkill Funeral Home,Charleroi from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday,Feb. 19,at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. Robert Laing,pastor of the First Methodist Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R. Toner,Belle Vernon,funeral director.
