Earl R. Smith,of 811 Monongahela street, Belle Vernon,died Friday, Nov. 16,1956,at 10a.m. suddenly of a heart attack. He was employed by the Charleroi Supply Co.,for 31 years and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Belle Vernon and Dravo Veterans Association,Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Smith; one son, Richard Earl Smith;one daughter,Mrs. Evelyn Diaz of Duluth, Minn.;one sister, Mrs. Sabrina Erwin of Connellsville and seven grandchildren. Friends are being reeived at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 19,at 2 p.m. in chargge of Rev. Wilbur Blackhurst,a former pastor of the Ebenezer Methodist Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
