Earl Everett Green,age 5,son of Mr.and Mrs. Harvey Green of Main street, Belle Vernon,was fatally injured at 10:45 Friday morning,September 13,1929,when struck by an automobile driven by George Williamson of Brooklyn,N.Y. The accident happened on Main street near the glass works and according to meager details available, the child started across the street and dashed directly into the path of the machine. The driver of the car picked the little victim up and rushed him to the office of Dr.J.W.Gordon where he died. The victim was then removed to the morgue of Harold Toner and prepared for burial. The driver of the car reported at the police station in Belle Vernon and is being detained pending an investigation.
