Earl Byers;51;died suddenly at his home in Belle Vernon on Wednesday;Jan.8;1964. Mr.Byers was a veteran of World War II;serving in the Pacific area of occupation. Surviving are his widow;Virginia;a daughter;Barbara Lee Byers of Long Island;N.Y.;a son;EM-3 Charles Ewing Byers;Great Lakes Naval Training Station;Illinois;three sisters;Mrs.Thomas (Iva) Parton and Mrs.John (Ruth) Haury;both of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Mrs.Lila Sneed;Bethesda;Md.;four brothers;Thomas of Scottdale;Albert and Clifford of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Foster of Detroit;Mich. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon during hours of 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Saturday;Jan.11;at 2 p.m.in charge of the Rev.Jackson A.Gabany;pastor of the First Methodist Church of Monessen.
