Earl A. Frantz,73,of McKeesport,died Thursday, March 26,1992, in McKeesport Hospital. He was born July 10,1918, in Fayette City,a son of the late Carl and Rebecca Frantz. Mr. Frantz was a retired machinist at Fisher Body in West Mifflin. He was on the board of the Auto Workers Federal Credit Union. A life member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon,Pittsburgh Forest 160,he was a Grand Tall Cedar in 1974. He was a drummer with the Syria Highlanders Kiltie Pipe Band. He was inhabited with the F&AM. Mr. Frantz was a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Regina E. Frantz of Camano Island, Washington, three grandchildren,Robyn E. Spevacek,Rebecca E. Gilmore and Rodd E. Frantz, two sisters, Thelma Fleming of Fayette City and Margaret Fitzpatrick of Monongahela and a brother, Gordon Frantz of Snellville, Ga. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta Morrrow Frantz and his second wife, Virginia L. (Ginny) Moriarty Frantz. Friends will be received at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home Inc.,915 Kennedy Ave.,Duquesne,Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
