Funeral services were held Monday;Oct.14;1996;for Duane T.Shoman;25;of Gastonia;N.C.;who died Thursday;Oct.10;1996;in Gastonia.  Born May 13;1971;in Warren;Ohio;he was the son of Dennis and Dianne Behanna Steiner of Belle Vernon R.D.1.  Mr.Shoman was a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts.  He was a graphic designer for Business Partners Advertising in Charlotte;N.C.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gastonia.  In addition to his parents;survivors include his wife;Amy McDivitt Shoman;one daughter;Haley Ruth Shoman at home;and one brother;Dennis Steiner Jr.of Belle Vernon.  Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;Belle Vernon;was in charge of arrangements.
