Drew A. Rainey, 53, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at 12:24 a.m. at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 3, 1962, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late George and Edith Waiton Rainey. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Rainey was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene, owned and operated Sebastian Enterprises, did general contracting and was a real estate investor. He was a member of the Tri-County Masonic Lodge 252, 3rd Degree; Belle Vernon Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 209; a social member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Club; a 2001 inductee in the Belle Vernon Area Football Hall of Fame; and was an outstanding linebacker at California University. Drew was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed playing bocce, hunting, gardening, and joking around - having a zest for life. He was a very loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Donna Delmastro Rainey to whom he was married 26 years; three children, Shaye Rainey, Sheldan Rainey and Sebastian Rainey all at home; brother, Gregory L. Rainey of Belle Vernon; and a sister, Kim Gido of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Drinkwater; and stepfather Arthur Steiner. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home and Cremations with the Rev. Eugene Spear of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Tri-County Masonic Lodge 252 will conduct services at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
