Mrs.Dorthea Schuerhoff;91;of 1550 Marion Ave.;Monessen;died Saturday;Oct.24;1970 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Survivors include a daughter;Mrs.Clarence M.(Kathryn) Feehan Sr.;with whom she made her home;a grandson;a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. Services were held Thuesday;Oct.27;1970;with burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Obituary

Mrs.Dorthea Schuerhoff,91,of 1550 Marion Ave.,Monessen,died Saturday,Oct.24,1970 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital following an illness of several months.  Born in Germany on December 15,1878,she was a resident of Monessen most of her life.  Mrs. Schuerhoff and her late husband Fred,who died in 1961,were pioneer merchants in Monessen having operated a grocery business there.  She was a member of St. Leonard's R.C.Church of Monessen. Survivors include a daughter,Mrs.Clarence M.(Kathryn) Feehan Sr.,with whom she made her home,a grandson,Dr. Frederick S. McAlpine of Boston, Mass., a granddaughter, Mrs. Roderick (Kay) Dinnen of Cleveland,Ohio and four great-grandchildren. Friends are bing received at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. Services were held Thuesday,Oct.27,1970,with burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
