Mrs.Martin was born March 13;1906;in Rostraver Twp.;a daughter of the late Edward and Grace Haggerty Abbey. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and its Ladies Class. Mrs.Martin was also a member of the Degree of Honor and the Belle Vernon Golden Agers. She had been a resident of the Belle Vernon area most of her life. In addition to her parents Mrs.Martin was preceded in death by a son;Harry Eugene;1926;and a sister;phyllis Warner;1982. Survivors include her husband;Harry H.(Bud) Martin;one son;John Edmund Martin of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.David (Grace) Trembach of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Bertha Resch of Leetsdale and Clara Forsberg of Monessen;four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad ave.;Belle Vernon;on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Friday;Feb.11;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Lowell Adams;pastor of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating.
