Dorothy Simpson McCuen15 State St., Speers,died Saturday,May 20,1978,in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital,following a short illness. Born June 9,1912 in North Charleroi,she was the daughter of the late William and Maryann Hayes Simpson. She had been a member of the First Christian Church,Charleroi. Mrs. McCuen is survived by her husband, David D. McCuen; one son,Donald Dean McCuen of North Charleroi; a daughter, Karen Elaine McCuen,at home and three grandchildren,Wayne,Barbara and Kristen McCuen. Friends are being received in the Michael A. Melinchak Funeral Home Inc.,825 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with Dr. W.S. Van Arsdale,pastor of the First Christian Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Michael A. Melinchak,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
