Dorothy Lela Frye Glasser; 105; of Monessen; died peacefully on April 26; 2012; at 3:46 p.m. in the Monongahela Valley Hospital Hospice. A lifelong resident of Monessen; she was a member of the Monessen United Methodist Church; serving as church secretary; and belonged to other church groups and several lodges. Dorothy was born Dec. 16; 1906; a daughter of the late Ira and Lela Reeves Frye. Dorothy is survived by a loving niece; Marlene Frye Toth and husband; Ronald Toth; of Vestal; N.Y.; great-niece; Lynn Toth; of Brooklyn; N.Y.; great-nephew; William Toth and his wife; Claire; and two great-great nieces; Cassidy and Capri; all of Austin; Texas. Dorothy was employed by the Monessen Laundry for 34 years until it was destroyed by fire in 1971. She was cared for and loved by the Havencrest Nursing Home for several years. She loved them back.
