Dorothy Hobbs Haley,36,Chemical Hill, Newell,Pa., died Saturday morning,July 5,1947 at 9:15 a.m.,in the Brownsville General hospital of complications. She was born in Monessen in 1911. She is a member of the Newell Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband,William E. Haley;two sons, Edward Thomas and Roger Allen,at home;four step-children,William E. Haley,Jr.,of Mckees Rocks,Mrs. Marie Fleming of McKees Rocks,Mrs. Katherine Garber,of Rochester,Pa.,and Matilda O'Hara of New Brighton,Pa.; her parents,Mr. and Mrs. O.T. Hobbs of Monessen;two sisters,Mrs. Ruth Lieder,of Monessen and Mrs. J. Margaret Manown of Monessen;two brothers, Harry Hobbs of Charleroi and Alfred Hobbs of Youngstown,Ohio. Friends will be recieved at her late home. Funeral services were held July 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Buhann officiating. Interment followed at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
