Dorothy Rusyniak Ferencz; 82; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Monday; Aug. 31; 2009; at her home. Born Oct. 31; 1926; in Ginger Hill; she was the daughter of the late Peter and Eva Furtak Rusyniak. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mrs. Ferencz was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; where she was a charter member of St. Barbara’s Altar Guild; a former member of the church choir and a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters and son-in- law; Donna L. Johnston; of Martinsburg; W. Va.; and Joyce and William Eger; of Greensburg; two grandchildren; Nicholas and Elizabeth Eger; two sisters; Julia Yuschak; of Belle Vernon; and Helen Meluch; of LaFayette; Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband; John Ferencz; on Feb. 28; 2004; and three brothers; William; Walter and John Rusyniak. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather 9 a.m. Thursday at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church for funeral services; with the Very Rev.
