Dorothy Denise Dee Joyner; 50; of Charleroi; passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday; Aug. 30; 2007. She was born Jan. 29; 1957; a daughter of Sally Cady; who survives and resides in Charleroi. She resided in York for five-plus years but was a resident of the Mon Valley all her life. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse. Dee ; as she was called by those who were close to her; had a heart for people. In addition to her mother; she leaves to cherish her memory two sons; Eric and William Brown; of Charleroi; one daughter-in-law; Sharie Smith; one god-daughter; Kiana Prosser; one granddaughter; Kali Brown; one grandson; Elijah Smith; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME; 645 McMahon Ave.; Monessen (724-684-4877); Trudy Taylor-Bristol; director in charge. Funeral services will be held Thursday; Sept. 6; at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Catherine Barrett of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church; Monessen. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
