Dorothy D.Pender Kitto;79;of Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Sept.29;1998;at the home of her sister;Lucy Pender. Mrs.Kitto was born Jan.14;1919;in Monessen;the daughter of the late Richard and Hilda Carne Pender. A Protestant by faith;she was a resident of Sweeney Plan for the last 28 years after living in Belle Vernon. She is survived by her husband of 60 years;William C.Kitto Jr.;and one daughter and son-in-law;Carol and James Kubalinski of Belle Vernon. Besides her parents;she was preceded in death by five brothers;Nelson;Stephen;Richard;Donald and William Pender;and two sisters;Beatrice Pender and Hilda Devlin. Friends will be recieved Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 9:30 a.m.with the Rev.S.Miles McConnell of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
