Dorothy Azetta Ross; 85; of Brooklyn; N.Y.; formerly of East Liberty; Pittsburgh and Pricedale; died Saturday; Sept. 25; 2004 in New York Methodist Hospital. She was born in Pricedale on Jan. 16; 1919; a daughter of the late Cecil and Ida Wheeler Ross. She was affiliated with the Homewood A.M.E. Zion Bennett and Homewood; Pittsburgh; Pa.-Homewood. She had been employed as a seamstress. She is survived by three nieces; Dorothy E. and Deborah A. Wright; both of Brooklyn; N.Y.; and Danielle I. Wright. Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the House of Law; 9406 Frankstown Rd.; Penn Hills. Funeral services will be held Friday; Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. in Homewood A.M.E. Zion Pittsburgh; Pa.-Homewood with the Rev. Stanley C. Dennison officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the HOUSE OF LAW of Penn Hills.
