Doris J. Risley, 86, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2019. A daughter of the late William H. and Florence M. Anderson White, she was born in Denbo on October 1, 1932. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 75 years, Doris had been a member of the First Christian Church in Belle Vernon and former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon Fire Company. She had been employed by Belle Vernon Area School District for 15 years as a bus driver, retiring in 1995. She is survived by two daughters and a son in-law, Marcella Kiefer with whom she made her home and Patti Jo and Virgil Diamond of Grindstone; a son and daughter in-law, William and Eileen Wall of Liberty; three grandchildren, Richard (Erin) Vitale, Jr. of Washington, PA, Renee Lynn (Kenny) Marsh of Rostraver Twp., and Katherine Leigh Diamond of Brownsville; and three great grandchildren, Kenny Marsh III, Melina Vitale, and Nikolas Vitale. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Risley in 1995; her twin sister, Dolores Evans; a brother, William White; and a granddaughter, Christine Wall.
