Obituary

Doris Breakwell McGrath of 31 Tudor Dr.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,March 2,1987,at 11:05 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 62. Mrs.McGrath was born March 4,1924,in Fairhope,a daughter of the late Franklin A.and Rachael Jackson Breakwell. She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church,Fairhope,where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. A resident of Rostraver Township the past four years,Mrs.McGrath had spent most of her life in the Fairhope and Uniontown areas. Survivors include two sons,David J.McGrath of Fayette City and Robert McGrath of Belle Vernon,one daughter,Ruth McGrath,with whom she made her home,one brother,Frankln Robert Breakwell of Belle Vernon,three sisters,Mrs.Victor (Ruth) Sebesta of Endicott,N.Y.,Mrs.John (Phyllis) Crea of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Wade (Mary Jane) Rae of Coker,Ala.,and two grandchildren,David and Timothy. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Thursday,March 5,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Mary Howard Sickles,former pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
