Doris Irene Bevan;68;of Belle Vernon;formerly of Charleroi;died Wednesday;March 12;1997;in St.Francis Hospital;Pittsburgh. Born Feb.16;1929;in Charleroi;she was the daughter of the late John M.and Phillis Murray Bevan Sr. Miss Bevan was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church;Charleroi. She was a retired lab technician at Mon Valley Hospital;having 44 years of service. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a brothr;John M.Bevan Jr.;a twin sister;Priscilla Stickle;and a sister;Jane Gray Thomas. Surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law;Nancy and Raymond Jones of Donora and Marilyn and Joseph Marklewicz of Belle Vernon;and a sister-in-law;Dorothy Bevan of Donora. Friends will be recevied in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery on Saturday;March 15;1997.
