Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12,1952 at two o'clock in the Chapel at the Bebout and Yohe Company Funeral Home for Mrs. Dora Mae Jackson,74, wife of Charles Jackson,her death occurring Thursday morning, January 10 at 7:30 o'clock at her home, 404 Ninth Street. She had been ill but a short time and her death was sudden and unexpected. Mrs. Jackson was born in Westmoreland County,May 13,1877, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Levi Griffey. She had resided in Monongahela for 56 years and was very well known here. She was a valued member of Bethel A.M.E. Church,active in its Lottie J. Brooks Missionary Society and the Senior Stewardess Board. She belonged also to the Eastern Star,and was a charter member of the Outlook Club of Monongahela. Friends are being received at the Bebout & Yohe Funeral Home,Second and Chess Streets. Services on Saturday will be conducted by her pastor,the Reverend William S. Hopson. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Surviving with the husband are two sons, Ralph of Coal Center and Clarence,at home,the latter is the caretaker of the Colonial Apartments.
