Donna Sveda; 92; of Fayette City; formerly of Lakewood; Ohio; died Wednesday; Nov. 2; 2005; in Mt. Macrina Manor; Uniontown. She was born Jan. 12; 1913; in Slovakia; a daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Blasko Sveda. She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church; Charleroi; and retired from the Milwaukee Brush Co. Surviving are her brother; Steve Sweda and wife Margaret; and a sister-in-law; Margaret Sveda; all of Fayette City; two nieces Marlene Sweda; of Texas; and Monica Nalevanko and husband Robert; of Fayette City; three nephews; Edward Arth; Richard Voytek and wife Carole; and Robert Voytek; all of Ohio; and numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Mike; who died in infancy; and Michael Sveda; and two sisters; Ann Arth and Mary Voytek. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday; Nov. 5; until 9:30 a.m.; when a prayer service will take place followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church; Charleroi; with the Rev. Fr. James Ragan as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A prayer service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
