Donna F.Matthews Jodon;56;of 525 Alexander St.;Monongahela;died Friday;Sept.26;1997;at 8:39 p.m. at Vencor Hospital;Oakdale;Pa. She was born March 5;1941;in Fairhope;a daughter of the late Fred and Eva Ruby Matthews. Mrs.Jodon resided in Monongahela for the past 32 years;where she was a member of St.Paul’s Episcopal Church;Monongahela. She retired as a bank teller with 3 Rivers Bank in Washington;Pa.;and was an avid card player;playing with several card clubs in the Mon Valley. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Gerald E.Jodon on Feb.10;1985;and a brother;Robert E.Matthews. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law;G.Mark and Kristyn Jodon of Houston;Texas; and Thomas A.and Lynn Jodon of Uniontown;one daughter;Trisann Jodon of Glendale Heights;Ill.;two brothers;Fred H.Matthews of Hedgesville;W.Va.;and Bernard P.Matthews of Monroeville;one sister;Mrs.George (Claudia) Rossi of Long Branch;and five grandsons;Austin;Jared;Tyler;Gray and Cole Jodon. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
