Donald Lensky; 76; of Fallowfield Township; died Wednesday; Oct. 15; 2003; in the emergency room at Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Dec. 2; 1926; in Detroit; Mich.; the son of the late Peter and Olive Cratty Lensky Lochmuller. He was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and American Legion Post 22; both of Charleroi. Mr. Lensky was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; serving in the European Theater of Operations. He was retired as the lock and dam operator for the Army Corps of Engineers at Lock No. 4. Surviving are his wife; Norma Lessman Lensky; one daughter and son-in-law; Sharon Elaine and Richard Evans of Fallowfield Township; one granddaughter; Darsey Ann Duffey of Clearwater; Fla.; one sister; Elaine Shuert of Oxford; Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME; 819 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Saturday; Oct. 18; at 9:30 a.m. with Deacon Jack V. Dolan officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A vigil service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers; the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
