Donald G. Keller; 72; of North Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Feb. 16; 2011; at 11:37 a.m. at his home. Born March 21; 1938; in Monessen; he was the son of the late Clyde Keller and Mildred Lape Keller Wanzilak. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Keller was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was a retired laborer from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a devoted son; brother and uncle to his family. He was also an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law; Melanie and Edward Pearce; of North Belle Vernon; two nephews; Edward C. Pearce and wife; Mary; of Rostraver Township; and Sean Pearce and wife; Lisa; of Fayette City; a great-niece; Nicole Pearce; and three great-nephews; Joshua Pearce and wife; Marina; Damian Pearce and Mason Pearce. He is also survived by several cousins. Visitation will be held Friday; Feb. 18; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. Prayer service will be held Saturday; Feb. 19; at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Donald Keller Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
