Obituary

Donald E Rosborough of 12 Graham Ave., Belle Vernon, died Saturday, Aug. 29,1967, at 12:50 a.m. at his home. He was 60. Mr. Rosborough was born in Pittsburgh on May 19,1927, a son of the late Ira and Nellie Kirkland Rosborough. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Donora, and the Belle Vernon American Legion, Post 659. He was graduated from Donora High School in 1945 and served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. A resident of Belle Vernon the past 20 years, he was employed at the State Liquor Store in Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, James, Lloyd and William, a sister, Thelma Rosborough Shearer, and a grandson, Jason Brett Buck. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Jones Rosborough, three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Buck, Mrs. John (Debbie) Kerekes III and Mrs. Walter (Donna) Clegg, all of Donora, a brother, Robert C. Rosborough Sr. of Donora, two sisters, Mrs. Adam (Ruth) Koday and Mrs. Marjorie Johnston, both of Donora, and nine grandchildren, Kristan and Kevin Buck, John and Alyssa Kerekes, and Joelle, Ashley, Matthew, Justin and Lindsay Clegg, all of Donora. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday,Sept.1,1987,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Kenneth Lashen,pastor of First United Methodist Church,Donora,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
