Donald D. Wozniak; 73; of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood; Washington Township); died Wednesday; Feb. 8; 2006; at 8 p.m. at his home. Born April 1; 1932; in Lock Four North Charleroi); he was a son of Kathryn Tisot Wozniak; who survives and resides in Washington Township; and the late Alex Wozniak. A lifelong resident of Lynnwood; Mr. Wozniak was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. He was formerly employed by Pages Chain and Cable of Monessen for 18 years; Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant; for 10 years and Universal Stainless Alloy Products Inc.; Bridgeville; for seven years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict; serving in the U.S. Army; and he was a member of VFW Belle Vernon Post 699. In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife; Helene Semancik Wozniak; to whom he was married for 49 years; a daughter; Denise Wozniak; of Belmar; N.J.; a son and daughter-in-law; Richard A. and Elena Wozniak; of Woodhaven; Mich.; two granddaughters; Rachel and Kelli Wozniak; a brother and sister-in-law; Robert and Dorothy Wozniak; of Perryopolis; and a sister and brother-in-law; Gloria and Thomas Hackenson; of Belle Vernon (Lynnwood). Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 top 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A Prayer Service will be held Saturday; Feb. 11; at 9 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church.
