Domenick Sergi of 900 Pineway St.;Tavares;Fla.;died Wednesday;March 5;1986;at 4 a.m. in the Veterans Administration Hospital;Gainesville;Fla. Mr.Sergi was 51. Born in Belle Vernon;Aug.12;1934;he was a son of the late Samuel and Lillian Dugan Sergi. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;James Sergi and a sister;Pauline Woodering. Mr.Sergi retired as a sergeant from the U.S.Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a chef in Dedham;Mass.;and Orono;Maine;from 1976 to 1981. He lived in Florida for the past five years. Surviving are six sons;Victor Sergi of Florida;Staff Sgt.Sam Sergi of Milford;Kansas;James;Steve;David and Domenick Sergi;all of Bangor;Maine;two daughters;Donna and Robin Sergi of Bangor;Maine;four brothers;Frank Sergi of Lebanon;Missouri;Sam Sergi of Belle Vernon;John and David Sergi of Monessen;six sisters;Mrs.Frances Caputo of Pontiac;Mich.;Mrs.Lena Jampedro of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Catherine Uhor of Arnold City;Margaret Acton and Loretta Cooper;both of Charleroi;and Mrs.Jeanne Neinhause of Columbus;Ohio;two grandchildren and his housekeeper;Helen Robbins. Friends are being received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where prayer services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
