Obituary

Domenick Sergi of 900 Pineway St.,Tavares,Fla.,died Wednesday,March 5,1986,at 4 a.m. in the Veterans Administration Hospital,Gainesville,Fla. Mr.Sergi was 51. Born in Belle Vernon,Aug.12,1934,he was a son of the late Samuel and Lillian Dugan Sergi. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,James Sergi and a sister,Pauline Woodering. Mr.Sergi retired as a sergeant from the U.S.Air Force after 21 years of service. He was a chef in Dedham,Mass.,and Orono,Maine,from 1976 to 1981. He lived in Florida for the past five years. Surviving are six sons,Victor Sergi of Florida,Staff Sgt.Sam Sergi of Milford,Kansas,James,Steve,David and Domenick Sergi,all of Bangor,Maine,two daughters,Donna and Robin Sergi of Bangor,Maine,four brothers,Frank Sergi of Lebanon,Missouri,Sam Sergi of Belle Vernon,John and David Sergi of Monessen,six sisters,Mrs.Frances Caputo of Pontiac,Mich.,Mrs.Lena Jampedro of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Catherine Uhor of Arnold City,Margaret Acton and Loretta Cooper,both of Charleroi,and Mrs.Jeanne Neinhause of Columbus,Ohio,two grandchildren and his housekeeper,Helen Robbins. Friends are being received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where prayer services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
