Dolores Lorain Sedlak Veres; 82; of Charleroi; died Thursday; July 12; 2012; in Jefferson Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born April 30; 1930; in Pricedale; the daughter of the late Elizabeth Sedlak and Andrew Sedlak III. Mrs. Veres graduated from Rostraver High School (salutatorian of the Class of 1948) and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church; Charleroi. Mrs. Veres served as a substitute teacher and worked at Head Start and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. She enjoyed books; gardening (especially roses); crocheting; sewing and spending time with her children and their families. Surviving are her husband; Milan (Link) Veres; whom she married on April 14; 1951; children; David L. Veres (Judi); Joseph A. Veres (Paula); Beth Pansino (Larry); Dale E. Veres (Cathi); Jean Muir (Bob) and Jennifer Rubin (Michael) Mrs. Veres had 16 grandchildren; Rachel; Benjamin; Leah; Jonathan Veres; Andrew; Matthew; Adam Veres; Christopher; Stephen; Julia; Gregory Pansino; Abigail; Noah Veres; Jessica; Jacob; Kristin Muir; also surviving are four sisters; Judith Coch; Elizabeth (Tippy) Pacak; Katherine Berthine and Sharon Doyle. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi; where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev.
