Dino Carini Sr.;84;of 16 Sampson St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 28;1976;at 3 p.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Manimo;Italy on Oct.25;1891;son of the late Frank and Rosa Carini;and had lived most of his life in Belle Vernon. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Carini was a veteran of service in the U.S.Army during World War I and belonged to the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He also belonged to the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon and was a charter member of the Belle Vernon Musical Society. He was preceded in death by a daughter;Lenora;in 1925. Surviving are his widow;Alberta Greene Carini;two sons;Alfred of Brooklyn;N.Y.and Dino Jr.of Belle Vernon;a daughter;Delores;at home;a grandson;Dennis Carini of Belle Vernon;and two brothers;Peter and Charles Carini;both of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Gerald E.Essey Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.Tueaday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Walter Kirkland of Charbelle Free Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
