Dewey Chirp Bartolozzi of Dunlevy; who would have been 102 on Sunday; died Friday; March 6; 2009; in Adult Assisted Living; Dunlevy. He was born March 8; 1907; in Dunlevy; a son of the late Santi and Palmira Francesconi Bartolozzi. Mr. Bartolozzi was a member of Mary; Mother of the Church Parish in Charleroi and the Guiseppi Garibaldi in Dunlevy. He was an avid gardener; hunter and fisherman. He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.; Allenport plant; in 1971. He is survived by his wife; Julia Katinsky Bartolozzi; with whom they celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on July 5; 2008. He is the beloved father of two sons; Frank (Betty) Bartolozzi of Dunlevy and Craig (Beth) Bartolozzi of Dunlevy; one daughter; Carole (Richard) Chacko of Sacramento; Calif.; six grandchildren: Pamela Neihaus; Julie Seighman; Mathew and Melina Bartolozzi; Georgia Kern and Richard Chacko; nine great-grandchildren: Bailey; Alex; Jonathan; Robert; Brenda; Grace; Gianna; Caitlyn and Lauren; and beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by a son; David Bartolozzi; three brothers; Armand Mundo; Albeno Finnigan; and Nello Bartolozzi.
