Dennis L.(Denny) Kenney;46;of 405 Short St.;Donora;died Saturday;June 15;1996;after a lengthy illness. Born Jan.14;1950;in Charleroi;he was a son of the late George M.and Ruth Kenney. A 1967 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School;he was retired from the Mon Valley Community Health Center in Monessen. Mr.Kenney had worked as a sports official in the Mon Valley. Survivors include his wife;Brenda Love Kenney;a daughter;Raelynn Love at home;two sons;Dennis Jermaine Kenney at home and Darrell Love of New Bedford;Mass.;one sister;Diane Kenney of Bentleyville;seven brothers;George of Boston;Mass.;Gerald of Woolwich Township;N.J.;Terrance of Monongahela;Gregory of Pittsburgh and Kenneth;Ronald and Rodney;all of Chicago;Ill.;and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Trudy L.Kenney. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the First Baptist Church;Sixth Street;Donora;where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Dennis Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;is in charge of arrangements.
