Mrs. Delphine Vernet, 80, of 310 Third street, Monessen, died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital, Monday April 23, 1956, at 1:30 a. m. She was a member of St. Leonard's R. C. Church, Monessen, and the Sacred Heart Society. Preceded in death by her husband. Adolph Vernet, who died October 28, 1952, she is survived by two sons, Harry and Rudolph of Monessen, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem Mass will be sung in St.Leonard's R.C.Church,Thursday,April 26,1956,at 10 a.m.,by Rev.Owen J.Kirby. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer is the funeral director.
