Delmas F.Lazzari,76,of 393 Jones St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,Jan.21,1992,at 7:39 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township. Born Sept.14,1915,in Belle Vernon,he was the son of the late Felix and Margaret Ferrari Lazzari. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,Mr.Lazzari was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,American Legion Post 695 and the Sons of Italy. In addition,he was a member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club,the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club,the Slovenian Club of Fayette City,and R.E.A.P. He retired in 1979 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,and was a veteran of World War II,having served in Europe. On March 15,1991,he celebrated 50 years of marriage with his wife,Mary Yakim Lazzari. In addition to his wife,he is survived by two daughters,Mrs.John (Lynn) Baron of Belle Vernon and Joyce Lazzari,at home;two granddaughters,Kelly Lynn and Corey Lee Baron;a brother,Lloyd Lazzari of Belle Vernon and a sister,Lorraine Povich of Monessen. Two brothers,Alfred and Fritz,are deceased. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 695 will conduct services in the funeral home at 7 p.m.Thursday. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
