Della C. (Bochicchio) Smith, 88, of Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. with her family at her side. She was a daughter of the late Donato and Rosaria (Nicoletti) Bochicchio; beloved wife of the late Charles C. Smith Jr.; beloved mother of Carl J. (the late Becky) Smith Sr., Marlene R. (William) Helinski, William C. (Donna) Smith; beloved sister of William (Margie) Bochicchio, Michael (the late Theresa) Bochicchio and the late Nick and James Bochicchio, Carmella Wiable, Mary Terak, Theresa Zangrilli; loving grandmother of Karen M. (Grant) Risha, Kimberly M. (Chris) Duranti, Lee (Annie) Fleming, Carl J. (Amy) Smith Jr., Stasia M. (Nathan) Hubbell and Chad J. (Lindsey) Smith; great-grandmother of Lexi, Mason and Tori Risha, Jaiden, Sydney and Gwendolyn Duranti, Abby Smith Derek and Peyton Fleming, Isabella and Nolan Hubbell and Charlie Smith; stepgrandmother of Dean (Stacey) Helinski and Joey Helinski; stepgreat-grandmother of Brandon, Alexandria and Hayden Helinski. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of North Belle Vernon fire department will conduct services Sunday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
