Delilah Dee Walton; 92; of Palatine; Ill.; formerly of Fayette City and Belle Vernon; entered into Heavenly rest on Sunday; Sept. 25; 2005; in St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Palatine. She was born in Fayette City on Nov. 16; 1912; a daughter of the late Edward R. and Lida Finch Bauer. She was a former member of the Fayette City United Presbyterian Church; a member and Past Matron of Belle Vernon Chapter 196 Order of the Eastern Star; and the Belle Vernon Public Library. She is survived by one daughter; Kathleen Stimmell; of Palatine; Ill.; one son; David A. Walton; of Pittsburgh; twp grandchildren; Karen Pioch and husband Paul; Randy Stimmell and wife Sue Ellen; and two great-granddaughters; Danielle and Sara Stimmell; all of Illinois; and one brother; Edward R. Bauer and wife Rosamond; of Carmichaels. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years; Albert R. Walton; in 1981; one son-in-law; Bernard Stimmell; and one sister; Floreine Jones; in 2005. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; and until 10 a.m. Thursday; Sept. 29; when funeral services will be held with Ross Ackinclose officiating.
