Obituary

David S.Hough,78,of 836 Graham SAt.,North Belle Vernon,died Monday,Feb.6,1995,in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township. Born Feb.19,1916,he was the son of the late Sterling and Elta Strawn Hough. Protestant by faith,Mr.Hough lived in Belle Vernon for the past 50 years. He was a retired tool grinder from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Genevia V.Fleming Hough,on Feb.19,1986,and a sister,Alice Harper,in 1994. Surviving are one daughter,Mrs.Tim (Joyce) Cheroki of Johnstown,one sister,Margaret Wick of Stockdale,three grandchildren,Timothy Cheroki,Jeffrey Cheroki and Lorrie Ann Swope,and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
