David S.Hough;78;of 836 Graham SAt.;North Belle Vernon;died Monday;Feb.6;1995;in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.;Carroll Township. Born Feb.19;1916;he was the son of the late Sterling and Elta Strawn Hough. Protestant by faith;Mr.Hough lived in Belle Vernon for the past 50 years. He was a retired tool grinder from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Genevia V.Fleming Hough;on Feb.19;1986;and a sister;Alice Harper;in 1994. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Tim (Joyce) Cheroki of Johnstown;one sister;Margaret Wick of Stockdale;three grandchildren;Timothy Cheroki;Jeffrey Cheroki and Lorrie Ann Swope;and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
