Obituary

David N. (Dave) Wilson. 76, of Fayelte City died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 24, 1990, at 4:41 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born April 20,1914, in Fayette City, a son of the late John and Virely Howser Wilson. He was Protestant by faith. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the United Mine Workers Local 9873, Perryopolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Wilson, two sisters, Erma Manella and Gladys Moss. Survivors include his wife, Jennie Malaspina Wilson, three sons, Commander David J. Wilson with the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. South Carolina stationed in the Red Sea, and James F. Wilson and Larry E. Wilson, both of Fayette City, five grandchildren, four brothers, Charles Wilson of Fayette City R.D. 1, Jack Wilson of the state of California, Richard Wilson of Charleroi, and Robert Wilson of Wrightstown, N.J., and one sister, Elizabeth Wilson of Fayette City. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 11 a.m.,when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Elder Thomas Hamer of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,Fayette City,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
