David Mason;a former resident of the mid-Mon Valley;of Huntington;W.Va.;died Friday;Nov.4;1977;in Huntington Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 85. Mr.Mason was a retired coal miner. Survivors include four daughters;Mrs.Stanley (Hazel) Bartus of Clarksville;Pa.;Mrs.James (Cora) Austin of Carmichaels;Mrs.William (Pearl) Burcin of Charleroi;Mrs.Albert (Betty) Yates of Huntington;W.Va.;one son;Lowman D.Mason of Belle Vernon;19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Friends wll be recieved in the Paul Lasko Funeral home;Carmichaels;from 2 to 9 p.m.Monday;Feb.7;1977. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery on Tuesday;Feb.8;1977.
