Obituary

David Lewis Smith, 28, of
Grindstone, a former resident of
Belle Vernon, died Friday, May
4, 1979 at 11:50 a. m. in
McKeesport Hospital.
He was born March 19,1951, in
New Castle, son of Joseph and
Mary Levine Smith, both of
whom survive.
He was a member of St.
Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon
and had lived in Belle Vernon
until three years ago. He was
also a member of the Belle
Vernon Moose Club.
He had been employed at the
Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Other survivors include his
widow, Sandy Lester Smith, one
son, Eric David Smith, a
paternal grandmother, Mary
Smith of New Stanton,
maternal grandmother, Mary
Levine of Yukon, two sisters,
Mrs. Joseph (Marie)
Marshall of Murrysville and
Mrs. Terry (Carol) Tompson of
Charleroi, five brothers, Joseph
of Sterling, Va., David of Belle
Vernon, Stephen of Monessen,
Martin of Charleroi and Rodger
of Belle Vernon.
A blessing service was held
this morning (Monday) in the
Leonard J Parzynski Funeral
Home, 626 Broad Ave., North
Belle Vernon, at 9:30, followed
by a Mass of Christian Burial at
St. Sebastian Church at 10
o'clock. Burial was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
