Obituary

David J.Lahey,20 Knox Ave.,Monessen,died Friday,April 21,1967,at 5 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Although he had been in ill health,his death was unexpected. Mr.Lahey was born in Pittsburgh and resided in Monessen most of his life. He was formerly employed as a bricklayer at National Tube,McKeesport. He was a member of St.Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen and the Holy Name Society of the church. Surviving are five sisters,Mrs.John (Mary) Tormay and Mrs.John R.(Anna) McCahill,Monessen,Catherine C.Lahey and Nellie Lahey at home,Mrs.K.W.(Agnes) DeRousse,Bethel Park,Pittsburgh,a brother,Edward J.Lahey Jr.,Monessen,nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home,Monessen,beginning at 7 p.m.Saturday. Funeral services will be held Monday,April 24,at 10 a.m.from the funeral home with additional services of Requiem High Mass at 11 a.m.from St.Leonard R.C.Church,Monessen. The Rev.Regis Hickey will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Robert A.Billick,funeral director.
