Obituary

David H. Myers died at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon,January 1,1916, at his home on Knox avenue, after a battle of six days with pneumonia and pleurisy. For the past two days the condition of Mr. Myers has been considered very critical and physicians feared the worst. The deceased was aged 32 years and leaves a wife and 3 children, besides a mother and one brother. He was the son of Theodore and Elizabeth Myers and the father died just one year ago this month. Mrs. Myers and the only surviving brother, Earl Myers reside on Schoonmaker avenue near Second street. The deepest sympathy goes out to the bereaved family. The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon,January 4,1916,from his home on Knox avenue. Rev.A.H.Davies,pastor of the M.E.Church will have charge of the services. Interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The deepest sorrow is being expressed on account of the unexpected death of this young man,so well and so favorably known. For a number of years he had been employed as a roller in the Tin mill and he has a large acquaintance among people in every walk of life. He was in the prime of life,aged 32 years,and was surrounded by a wife and three children and his home ties were such as to make life most precious. Immediately after the services at the house,interment will be made.
