David (Dave) Payton;60;of Dunbar R.D.1;formerly of Donora;died suddenly at his late home Monday;Oct.7;1963;at 10 a.m. Mr.Payton retired last January from his position as stationary engineer at American Steel and Wire Co.in Donora. Born on March 10;1903;in Dunbar;he was a son of the late Patrick and Martha Wilson Payton. He is survived by two brothers;William of Confluence;and James Robert (Mary) Evans of Charleroi;and several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home in Donora where a service will take place Friday;Oct.11;at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev.Hengust Robinson;pastor of the First Methodist Church of Donora. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawson-Rabe Funeral Home is charge.
