Daniel Smith,65,of 1545 Schoonmaker avenue,Monessen died at his late home,Monday,June 25,1956 at 5:30 p.m. Surviving are his wife,Cora;a son,Herbert,a daughter,Mrs.Thelma Majors,a sister,Mrs.SadieGreen,all of Monessen;two brothers,Herbert and William,of Pittsburgh,and eight grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Beverly C.Draper Fuenral Home where funeral services will be held Thursday,June 28,at 11 a.m. Rev.Harrison Spencer will officiate.
